Come and hear what it’s like to work for the City of Espoo and explore career opportunities available in early childhood education, basic education, and general upper secondary education. At our stand, you will meet managers, employees and recruitment specialists working in the field.
We work closely with libraries, as Espoo places great emphasis on promoting children’s literacy from early childhood education onwards. At Educa, you can hear about activities organised by Espoo’s libraries and get book recommendations for children and young people from a library representative on Friday 11:30–19:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00.
Espoo is a pioneering city in technology and innovation, and this is reflected in the daily lives and education of children and young people. Come and see what versatile digital pedagogy looks like in practice. At our stand, you can try out the interactive FlySky projector, which is used to teach children and young people and engage them in physical activities.

At our stand, we will provide information about topics such as early childhood education pedagogy, See the Good activities, physical activity in early childhood education, and how children are supported in Espoo. We will also provide information about mentoring and training opportunities available to early childhood education employees.
You can ask our education specialists about basic education and general upper secondary education, sustainable development activities in our schools, the development of teaching and support for learning, and cooperation between various stakeholders.
Our general upper secondary education specialists will tell you about how our Lukiopaja activities prevent students from dropping out, how general upper secondary education is being developed with the help of a quality manual completed last year, the changes in the service network of general upper secondary education, and our schools’ comprehensive internationalisation programme.
