Espoo’s building ordinance is being revised – participation and assessment scheme now available for public review

The City of Espoo’s building ordinance is being revised. At its meeting on 12 September 2024, the Environment and Building Control Committee decided to make the participation and assessment scheme (OAS) available for public review. The scheme explains the main stages and schedule of the revision work as well as how people can participate in and influence the revision.

Parties involved may give their opinion on the participation and assessment scheme 18.9.–2.10.2024. The parties involved include all residents of the City of Espoo as well as any communities, companies, landowners and property owners operating in the city area. The participation and assessment scheme and the instructions for giving an opinion will be made available for public review during the announcement period until 2 October 2024 on the City of Espoo website (in Finnish).
