A new café and kiosk will open its doors in Piparkakkutalo in the Träskända Manor park at the beginning of July.

The company running the new café and kiosk is Lusikka & Paistinpannu Oy, which also runs the café in the adjacent Aurorakoti.

Piparkakkutalo (‘Gingerbread House’ in English) is a wooden building from the 19th century, which was perhaps originally used as a residential building. Earlier this year, the building underwent repairs to improve indoor air quality. Minor repairs were also made on the windows and facade. The interior was fully renovated, and the accessibility of the toilets was improved. The renovation project was carried out by the City of Espoo’s Premises Department.
