Throughout autumn, rough and stirring live experiences will be witnessed in the underground Kannusali

The hidden underground gem, Kannusali, located in Espoo center, offers a diverse audience the opportunity to dive into cultural experiences. Would you like contemporary pop, alternative or metal music, cool rap, or activities for the whole family? Kannusali has something to choose from.

There are plenty of highlights among the performers: the very popular Pehmoaino opens the concert season at Kannusali on August 30, and Atomirotta sets the basement in order on September 20. At the beginning of the season, Agent Blå (September 6), Gothenburg's promise for pop punk, will perform. Rawness is also offered by Business City + Möyhy-veikot (October 5), as well as Maritta Kuula + Liisa Akimoff, who perform on a double evening (October 18). Cleaning Women impress with their new production (November 15), as do Jaakonaho + Jere Ijäs & Monacon Työväen Palloilijat (November 22) and Värttinä (November 29). 

Veteran artists that will perform includes  Tuomari Nurmio (November 16) and Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat (September 13). On October 11, the fresh newcomer Tuuli takes the stage, while emma & matilda crown the season with their concert on December 12. A lineup of young talents will present music in tune with the times. How about Pilvet Pilvet + Orvokki (September 14), Senya + Yrjänä (September 28), Yeboyah + Nisa (October 26), Vilma Jää + Pelkkä Poutanen (October 4), and Pesso + Good Boys (November 30)? 

For metal music lovers, there are powerful performances by Cyan Kicks (September 7) and Lost Society (November 1), as well as a music and literature event themed around Sentenced

In addition to music, thrilling cultural offerings include the theater piece Historian jännät naiset on September 26. Stand-up comedy in the autumn will feature, among others, Finland's blindest comedian Tommi Vänni (October 3) and Mika Eirtovaara (October 24). The Finglish Stand-Up night (October 23) at Café Bar Luola promises laugh-inducing performances in multiple languages. 

At the free-entry Mummodisko, everyone gets to dance regardless of age and gender with Tuija Piepponen and DJ Mikko Haapalainen (September 10 and November 12). The program also includes film experiences for all tastes: daytime screenings continue, as do the popular 6 p.m. screenings by public demand. The beloved Megamuskari for the youngest continues (September 21 and October 19). Whilst the very popular Arne Alligator charms at Children´s cave club on November 9.
