Tony Björk är vald till rektor för Mattlidens skola i Esbo
Tony Björk will start as principal on August 1, 2024. This year, he has served as the acting principal of the school.
Tony Björk has extensive experience working in the education system. He has worked as principal at Karamalmens skola for 13 years, the last three of which he has also been responsible for Smedsby skola. "The new task feels inspiring. I see a lot of potential in Mattliden and I want to develop and grow with the school," Björk says.
Mattlidens skola is a comprehensive elementary school with grades 1-9. The school has just over 790 students and about 80 teachers.
