Suomen Yrittäjät (SY) is measuring Finnish municipalities’ success in promoting enterprise. SY is charting business owners’ opinions on their municipalities’ enterprise-friendliness, how successful the municipalities have been in this area, and areas for development.
Why is this survey important?
- Business owners can give feedback and evaluate their municipalities’ actions: what works and what should be improved?
- Municipalities receive important feedback from business owners about their operations, including on the significance of public procurements for business owners.
- The local societies of SY learn what issues they should advocate on their members’ behalf in the municipalities.
- The municipalities and their enterprise agencies receive valuable feedback from business owners about the enterprise services they offer: do enterprise services improve business owners’ daily lives and are they available at a low threshold? Do public procurements take small and medium-sized enterprises into account?
It is important that all SY members share their views to ensure the results genuinely reflect business owners’ views.
The survey is open from 12 February to 1 April 2024. You can answer it in Finnish, Swedish or English. The results of the survey will be announced at the Municipal Leadership Seminar in Turku on Tuesday 14 May 2024.
