Welcome to the resident evening about Utkikens daghem daycare centre on 7.2.
The unit for Swedish Education and Cultural Services is organizing a resident evening regarding Utkikens daghem in Espoonlahti on Wednesday, February 7th, from 18:00 to 19:00. The resident evening will be held in the cafeteria of Storängens skola, Rehtorinkuja 4. The event will be conducted in Swedish, but you can also participate in Finnish and English.
The new daycare facility, which will house the Swedish-speaking Utkikens daghem and the Finnish-speaking Tähystäjän päiväkoti, is expected to open its doors no later than November 2024. Both daycares will have seven groups. The construction is expected to be completed by October. The Swedish-speaking Klippans daghem, Kongsbergs daghem, and Skepparbackens daghem will move to the premises.
A proposal to merge the Swedish-speaking daycares is under preparation and will be addressed by the Swedish Education and Cultural Committee Svenska rum in February 2024.
