Detailed plan for Hepokorvenkallio to become valid, Supreme Administrative Court did not grant leave to appeal

The plan for Hepokorvenkallio will be announced as valid on 8 November 2023. The Supreme Administrative Court did not grant leave to appeal, so the decision of the Helsinki Administrative Court remains in force. On 27 January 2023, the Helsinki Administrative Court dismissed an appeal against the detailed plan of the Hepokorvenkallio data centre.

Microsoft is planning a data centre in the area, and the waste heat from the data centre would be utilised by Fortum in its production of district heating. The area is located between Hepokorpi and the Tollinmäki residential area, north of Ring III.
