Espoo is looking for an operator to develop a bus depot block in Nöykkiö

The City of Espoo is looking for an operator to develop a bus depot block in Finnoonniitty in Nöykkiö. The operator must build the infrastructure necessary for charging HSL’s (Helsinki Region Transport) electric buses used in local traffic.

The plot is approximately 29,000 m2 in size with a permitted building volume of 10,000 gross m2. Two parcels of land located in the block are currently leased for bus depot operations.

A pedestrian and bicycle path called Finnoonniitynpolku passes through the block. It will be removed in connection with the construction of the block.

The two-phase application procedure is open to all. The application period is 2 October 2023–16 January 2024. Further information on the site and the application procedure is available on the espoo.fi website. 

The decision on the recipient of the block will be made by the Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee of the Espoo City Board.
