Espoo’s hobby search shows hobbies in one place
The new online hobby search service shows local hobbies and their providers in one place on the City of Espoo’s website.
The service was particularly developed for the needs of children and young people looking for hobbies, as the city wants to ensure that all children and young people in Espoo have at least one enjoyable hobby. It is easier for the city to achieve this goal when hobbies are easy to find.
The new online service offers a variety of options for guided recreational activities and more goal-oriented pursuits: sports and exercise, art and culture, crafts and digital hobbies. Hobbies are available in different parts of Espoo and also online.
During the first phase, the service contains free hobbies provided by the city. Later, you can also find fee-based activities offered by local clubs, organisations and providers of basic education in the arts. Information on hobbies is available in all three service languages of the city: Finnish, Swedish and English.
