User regulations of self-service libraries within Espoo City Library
The Culture Committee decided to approve the user regulations of self-service libraries within the Espoo City Library. If a person wants to become a customer of a self-service library, they must have a valid Helmet library card that includes the right to use the self-service library. During the self-service hours, customers can access the library using their library card and PIN code. All customers must use their own card and code when entering the library.
The purpose of this change is to increase customers’ awareness of using self-service libraries and thus increase the safety of self-service libraries, prevent vandalism and ensure that the opening hours are as extensive as possible. The new self-service user regulations are expected to enter into force on 1 November 2023.
