City of Espoo is a partner of Helsinki Pride
As one of the main partners of Helsinki Pride, we support equality and diversity.
As stated in the Espoo Story, the city’s key values and operating principles include fairness, equality and tolerance. Achieving these goals requires concrete actions that promote equality. As part of the Helsinki Pride partnership, Espoo’s staff will be trained in equality issues. We will improve Espoo’s visibility, appeal and vitality. The Pride partnership is one of the ways in which the city works to promote equality and diversity and part of our organisation’s learning path.
Our libraries and cultural venues celebrate Pride Week by organising various events. Read more about Pride events in Espoo.
Pride Week culminates in the Helsinki Pride Parade on Saturday. Some of our employees will also participate in the parade.
