Would you like to provide high-quality recreational activities based on the wishes of children and young people on the Espoo Hobby Path? The Espoo Hobby Path implements the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Finnish model for leisure activities in Espoo. The Hobby Path offers free recreational activities for children and young people in connection with school days at their own school or in its close vicinity.

We are looking for operators to join our dynamic register of service providers. We are looking for service providers who have previous experience in organising recreational activities for children and young people and who are capable of providing high-quality activities according to children’s and young people’s wishes in different parts of Espoo regularly, throughout the school year. Activities can be organised in Finnish, Swedish, English and other languages. In particular, we are interested in content related to digital activities, arts and culture, and various themes, such as cooking. We would also like to see activities that promote inclusion, as well as new and innovative activities.

You can now apply to join the register of service providers

The dynamic register of service providers is now open to new applicants. You can submit your application through the Supplier Portal (Tarjouspalvelu.fi) by 16:00 on 27 March 2023. You must first register with the Supplier Portal, after which you can view the details and documents related to the application process. You can access the Supplier Portal through this link.(external link, opens in a new window)

You do not have to provide information on prices in your application. The price for each procurement is determined based on the tenders received from the registered service providers. Submitting an application does not yet oblige the applicant to provide services, and the City of Espoo is not obliged to order the services.

The applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and conditions and are admitted to the dynamic register of service providers will be notified of this via an office-holder decision. The service providers admitted to the register will be able to receive invitations to tender from the City of Espoo and offer their services.

If you have already been admitted to the register, you do not have to reapply.
