Swimming is still not recommended at Kallvik winter swimming area – water quality is good in Laajalahti

Water samples taken from the Kallvik winter swimming area on Monday 16 January and Wednesday 18 January showed high concentrations of faecal bacteria. Therefore, swimming is not recommended for the time being.

Another water sample will be taken on Monday 23 January. Once the samples have been analysed, a notice of the results will be taken to the swimming area and posted on the espoo.fi website.

The water sample taken from the Laajalahti winter swimming area on Monday 16 January showed high concentrations of faecal bacteria, and swimming was not recommended. Based on the new sample taken on Wednesday 18 January, water quality is good again and swimming is allowed.
