Winter weather arrives in Espoo

According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute’s forecast, winter weather will arrive in Espoo during the weekend.
The risk of accidents will increase so now is the time to switch to winter tyres and make sure that you wear warm clothes and appropriate shoes. Poor driving conditions, snowfalls and sub-zero temperatures will affect the flow of traffic from Saturday afternoon until Monday.
Our winter maintenance equipment is ready for ploughing, salting and gritting. Our snowploughs are in good condition and our grit and salt containers are full. Of course, our winter maintenance staff are also ready for action.
