Espoo is looking for a sports operator for Finnoonpuisto in Nöykkiö

The City of Espoo is looking for an operator for Finnoonpuisto in Nöykkiö to construct a building or buildings suitable for sports use on a rental plot.

All types of operators wishing to develop sports activities on the plot are invited to apply. Operators may also work together to submit joint applications.

The area of the plot is approximately 22,600 square metres. The permitted building volume on the plot is 10,000 square metres and a minimum of 8,000 square metres must be built on the plot, i.e. the plot can accommodate a large project.

In addition to buildings, outdoor fields or other outdoor activity spaces suitable for sports can also be built on the plot.

The lease agreement on the plot will be made until June 2045.

The plot is currently empty. Previously there was a detached house in the northern section of the plot, but it was demolished in 2014. The tennis court near the site of the detached house has not been demolished, and according to the City, it is no longer in active use. A golf airdome was located in the southern section, but it has been demolished. A new golf airdome in active use is located next to the site of the previous airdome.

The application period starts on 9 May and ends on 8 August at 3.45 pm. The application process will be carried out in two phases.
