Temporary closure of Mestarintunneli on Ring I

The Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) has decided to close Mestarintunneli on Ring I in both directions as follows:

  • 6–7 April 2022, 00:00–4:30



    The previously announced closure on the night of 5–6 April and 11-12 April as been cancelled.

The reason for the closure is tunnel system testing and maintenance. The tunnel will be open to traffic after the required measures have been completed. The closure may be cancelled at short notice if weather conditions so require.

During the closure, traffic will be diverted to Mäkkylän puistotie and Turuntie.
