Espoo’s family centre is being opened in May

Espoo’s first family centre will open in May in Espoon keskus in Kamreerintie 6(external link). The new family centre brings under the same roof children’s, youth’s and family services.

The first service to start offering its services in the family centre is Suvela maternity and child health clinic opening on May 19. Most services will open on May 20 but some will move into the family centre around the end of May.

The following services that currently operate in the Espoon keskus area will move into the family centre: maternity and child health clinic, family counselling centre, speech therapy for children, occupational therapy for children, psychologist for children, child welfare, child welfare officers, child contact centre, domestic services, family work and help in divorce for families with children.

In an addition to these, various organizations will participate in the function of the family centre and offer all sorts of activities for families.

The family centre’s maternity and child health clinic will combine Suvela, Kiltakallio and Espoon keskus maternity and child health clinics, to form a new one. This new maternity and child health clinic will be called Espoon keskus maternity and child health clinic.
