Cultural Unit annual report 2021
The Cultural Committee approved the Cultural Unit’s annual report for 2021.
Cultural Centre theatre hall, change of needs report
The Cultural Committee approved the change to the needs report for the theatre hall of Espoo Cultural Centre. The Committee considers it important to further promote the renovation project of the Cultural Centre.
The new theatre hall with associated facilities, which was to be built as an extension of Espoo Cultural Centre, is proposed to be built as a new construction project in Tapiola, in connection with the Cultural Centre, on the northern edge of Kulttuuriaukio Square. The extension will primarily serve as a stage for Espoo City Theatre.
Art grants and project grants for culture for 2022, batch 1
The Cultural Committee decided to award a total of EUR 9,900 in short-term art grants and a total of EUR 32,160 in project grants.
