Do you want a summer job focusing on sustainable development?

We in the Sustainable Development Team are looking for enthusiastic, active and creative summer workers who want to help us promote sustainable development both in Espoo and globally and create a better future for everyone.​

We know that sustainable development is a broad concept, so you do not need to know everything about it. We will teach you so that you can understand what sustainable development consists of and how sustainable development is promoted in cities. We will do everything we can to make you succeed!​

This year, we are looking for six summer workers to strengthen our team. Are you one of them?​

• Summer worker, Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development 3 places (for 16–19-year-olds) (external link, opens in a new window)

As a summer worker, you will get to learn about the City’s sustainable development and climate work and make young people's voices heard. We offer you an interesting and multi-faceted summer job where you will get to plan and implement online and social media communications for young people together with two other summer workers. The work will be based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the development projects of the Sustainable Espoo programme.​

• Summer worker, Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development 3 places (higher education student) (external link, opens in a new window)

During this one-month summer working period, you will carry out an independent survey under the guidance of our experts. In addition, you will get to learn about the City's sustainable development and climate work and communicate and present the results of your work
