Application for playgroup clubs for the operation period 2022–2023 will finish end of March
The application period for early childhood education playgroup clubs will start at the beginning of March. The application will be open until 31 March 2022.
Espoo organises playgroup club activities for 2–5-year-old children who are cared for at home. The playgroup clubs operate in connection with resident parks or day-care centres. The playgroup clubs offer activities for 2–3 hours a day on 2–3 days a week, and the children participate in the clubs without their parents. The clubs are free-of-charge.
Application for the playgroup clubs will start at the beginning of March. The application period is 1–31 March 2022. Submit an online playgroup club application for your child at www.espoonvarhaiskasvatus.fi(external link, opens in a new window). Log in at the top right corner of the page. The site requires strong authentication, such as online banking credentials.
The playgroup clubs’ operation period is from August 2022 until the end of May 2023. The club place decision will be made for this period.
However, you may also apply for playgroup clubs after the application period in case vacancies become available. You can submit an application for playgroup clubs even if the operation period has already started. Applications will remain valid until the end of the operation period.
