Autumn term in schools ends on 23 December
In Espoo general upper secondary schools and comprehensive schools end autumn term on Thursday 23 December. Spring term begins on Monday 10 January 2022.

The services at Finnish Basic Education Unit are mostly closed from 23 December 2021 until 7 January 2022.
Pupils moving to Espoo
If a child moves to Espoo and needs support in the Finnish language, the family can contact the Multicultural Education Services. Counseling by phone is available from 3 January 2022 on +358 46 8773293. Counseling is not available between Christmas and New Year.

Enrolling in the 1st and 7th grade of comprehensive school begins on 10 January
Children born in 2015 shall be enrolled in the first grade of comprehensive school by their guardians through the electronic Wilma-service between 10 and 21 January 2022. More information about enrolling in the 1st grade on page School Admissions.
