The gyms of senior service centres will re-open in August
The gyms of service centres will be re-opened for customers in August. Customers must book a gym session in advance and only come to the gym if they are not feeling ill. The gym services of the service centres are mainly offered to seniors who need physical exercise to be able to manage their daily chores.
The gyms at the Tapiola and Espoon keskus service centres will open on 16 August, while the gym of the Kauklahti service centre will open on 1 September. We will share more information about the opening of the gyms at Soukka and Leppävaara service centres at a later date.
Limited number of visitors – you can only exercise via advance booking
Only a few customers can be present at the gym, so that everyone can maintain safe distances from each other. This is why customers need to make an advance booking. You can only visit the gyms if you are not feeling ill. You must also pay attention to hand and coughing hygiene at the gym. We recommend that everyone wear face masks at the gym.
For the time being, one person can book only two exercise sessions a week, so that as many people as possible will have a chance to exercise.
If there are only a few bookings, we can offer more time slots to those who need exercise the most. The gyms of the service centres cannot be used without advance booking.

- Kauklahti ‘elä ja asu’ senior centre, Hansakartano 4. The gym will be open from 1 September onwards; booking via phone number +358 40 5067719.
- Soukka ‘elä ja asu’ senior centre, Soukankaari 7. The gym will remain closed until further notice.
- Leppävaara ‘elä ja asu’ senior centre, Säterinkatu 3. The gym will remain closed until further notice.
- Haukilahti service centre will remain closed until further notice.
