Excellent IB Results in Spite of the Covid Shadow!

All Finnish IB schools organised their May 2021 examinations as planned and these went off without a hitch. As grade boundaries were lowered to counter the effects of disrupted schooling on a global scale, the results were nudged upwards, with a global average of 33 points (instead of the usual 30 points). Etis results were, as ever, clearly above the global average with several students gaining 40+ points. Nearly everyone passed the dipoma. This year, then, there were plenty of smiles and few tears, except tears of joy and relief at the outcome. A well-earned celebration awaits!
