Love Letters to Nature – the locations

There are five works in total and they are all located along the Waterfront Walkway, which is also suited for cycling. You can reach Espoonlahti conveniently by public transport and then explore the works between the Espoonlahti and Kivenlahti metro stations. The total length of the route is about 5 km from one metro station to another and the total distance between the works is 3 km.

Efforts were made to select as the locations of the works for maximum accessibility but, due to the nature of the terrain, some of the works are not easily accessible.

Accessibility of work locations:

Location A

The work is located at the Waterfront Walkway junction leading from Merivalkama to the Kivenlahti beach, near the dog beach. The Location is in a green area next to the gravel path, with no curb. The terrain is level and accessible. The location has a seat.

Location B:

The work is located above the cliffs of Kivenlahti, south of Tyrskyranta. The location is to the side of the Waterfront Walkway, on a beach-side cliff about 8 meters from the trail. The terrain is uneven and sloped. The location does not have a seat.

Location C

The work is located along the upper Waterfront Walkway in front of Tyrskyvuori 4. The location is on a slope accessible by forest trail about 8 meters from the walkway. The terrain is challenging and uneven. The location does not have a seat.

Location D

The work is located in front of Ristiniementie 22 in Soukanlahdenpuisto. The location is on a sloping, grassy hill on the beach side of the gravel path of the Waterfront Walkway, with a slightly uneven terrain but no curbs. The location has a seat.

Location E

The work is located at the end of Soukanlahti on the section of the Waterfront Walkway leading to the archipelago boat quay. The site is on a bridge over a stream at the edge of the gravel path. The terrain is level and accessible. The location has a seat.
