Koto-Espoo: Welcome to Finland courses (civic orientation)
Welcome to Finland courses offer immigrant participants information about Finnish society in their own language or in a language they know well. Koto-Espoo offers courses for Espoo residents who are outside the workforce. For example, for stay-at-home parents and people over 65 years old.
The courses include discussions and sharing experiences with other participants.
What are we studying?
- Finnish society and its values
- Housing, everyday life and services in Finland
- Family life and children
- Working life and studying
- Health and aging
- Finnish laws, your rights and obligations
You can take your child with you to the course. There is a babysitter.
The course takes a total of 70 hours. Participation is free of charge.
The next courses will be held in autumn 2025.
