Plots for blocks of flats and terraced houses
The city sells and leases plots for professional housing construction projects. Plots are usually allocated through a draw or competition. Plots become available throughout the year.
Information on plot allocation
The city allocates developable plots for professional housing construction projects through application procedures and price and quality competitions. Residential plots are allocated to both state-subsidised and non-subsidised construction projects. The plots intended for state-subsidised rental housing production will be transferred primarily to Espoo Asunnot Oy.
Plot draws and competitions will be announced on this website, in newspapers (Helsingin Sanomat, Hufvudstadsbladet and Länsiväylä) as well as by email. If you would like to join the mailing list, please send an email to tonttiyksikko@espoo.fi.
The sales and lease of plots is decided by the Trade and Competitiveness Division of the City Board.

The City of Espoo will sell a plot to the highest bidder for the construction of apartment buildings in Kaitaa, plot AK 31154/1 | City of Espoo. The bid must be submitted by 12:00 on 18 December 2023.
