City of Espoo seeks a café/restaurant operator for Gräsantori in Niittykumpu

The City of Espoo is seeking an operator through an open two-phase application procedure to carry out café and/or restaurant activities in line with the detailed plan in the Gräsantori square in Niittykumpu. According to the current detailed plan, a restaurant, kiosk or similar pavilion-style building with a maximum floor area of 300 gross square metres may be built in the square.
The project proposed as the recipient of the site will be presented to the City Board’s Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee, which will decide on the selection of the recipient. The possibility to lease the site will be proposed to the project.
Once the project has all the necessary permits for construction and operation, the land lease can be signed.
The application period starts on 31 August 2026 and ends on 30 November 2026 at 12:00.
