Event: The Espoo of the future is made together – Our Espoo 20X0 results
What kind of future do we want in Espoo? The decisions being made will have a far-reaching impact on the future. Welcome to discuss the results of the Our Espoo 20X0 event series on 16 March!
The Our Espoo 20X0 event series heard the residents’ views on the future of Espoo, carefully collecting and analysing all ideas. We now invite the residents to continue discussing the city’s future and how they can influence it. The event will discuss the results of the event series and their effect on Espoo’s urban planning, the preparation of the master plan, and the Espoo Adult Education Centre’s course offering.
The results will be examined in panel discussions. The topics are based on themes the residents considered important in the Our Espoo 20X0 discussions. The themes for the evening are:
- A communal and vibrant city
- Smooth everyday life, services and mobility
- Local nature, climate change and biodiversity
- Participation in Espoo
Besides the panel discussions, we have reserved time for questions and comments from the public. The event also includes a plentiful entertainment programme, including a children’s drawing workshop, performances by the Muuttolinnut choir, interaction, and some entertainment for young people.
The event will be held at the Entresse Library on 16 March starting at 16.00. You can participate in the event on-site or watch the programme on the stage remotely. The programme on the stage and the live broadcast will start at 17.00. Please note that the entertainment programme will start already an hour earlier! We will update the live broadcast link in this event announcement well before the start of the broadcast.
