At the open dress rehearsals, you can watch the orchestra prepare for the evening’s concert. They may be rehearsing entire works or sections of them. Some parts of the evening’s programme may also be omitted entirely. 

The open dress rehearsals will take place in the Tapiola Sinfonietta concert hall at the Espoo Cultural Centre from 10.00 to 13.00. You may leave the rehearsals during the break starting at approximately 11.20.

At the artists’ meet-and-greet, you can get into the spirit of the season’s concerts. The guests being interviewed include visiting artists and musicians from the Tapiola Sinfonietta.

Concert introductions for the Tapiola series will take place from 6.10 pm to 6.30 pm in the main foyer on the second floor of the Espoo Cultural Centre. For the indie concerts, a discussion session will be held in the main foyer immediately after the concerts. The times of the artist meet-and-greets may vary depending on the concert. The exact time and venue can always be found in the programme and by asking the staff in the foyer.

The Friends of the Tapiola Sinfonietta support the wellbeing of the orchestra and share knowledge about classical music. The association organises concert trips and opportunities to get to know the orchestra behind the scenes.
