On Independence Day, Aurora Children's Cultural Centre will be filled with mystery and the brilliance of the elements.
Expect fire, magic, and stardust, and keep your eyes open as you may encounter mysterious characters around the grounds. But who are they?
Performances
3:30 PM & 4:30 PM | Aura Company: Kuumotus Fire Show | Outdoor Stage
Circus Duo Nerg & Nivala takes the audience on an exhilarating journey where a story of balance and controlled chaos unfolds around fire. The performance is an intense combination of fire arts, juggling, and the precise rhythm of contemporary circus.
Workshops
2:00 PM-5:00 PM | Power Stone Workshop | Courtyard
Choose the natural element that feels closest to you from four different options and decorate your own power stone with its colours, symbols, and meanings. The stone's shape, colours, and images will reflect your unique strengths and personality.
Workshop instructor: Art Educator Jenni Vilander
2:00 PM-5:00 PM | Magic Tree: Shimmering Scratch-Art Discs Workshop | Courtyard
Help create an enchanting collaborative artwork by transforming shimmering scratch-art discs into a magical tree. Inspired by ornamental patterns, participants will scratch beautiful and intriguing designs onto recycled CDs.
Workshop design and instruction: Aino Malinen

The Stardust Poetry Trail takes visitors into the world of the stars. Discover gentle glimmers, ancient stories, and the magic of shooting stars. In short, it's all about things that are truly stellar!
