The title is taken from her eponymous collection of poems, an erotic and proto-punk manifesto. Created by choreographer Giorgia Lolli, the work combines dance, lecture performance, poetry reading, workout: sweat will be a way to explore the intertwining of effort and pleasure, the binding force of a heterogeneous collage of dance and textual materials.
Love letters between friends and lovers. Waterless aqua aerobics in tiger-striped leotards. A poem for the Baroness. A split, in her honour.
Language: English, Italian
Please note: loud music, proximity between audience and performers, liquorice candy (upon consent)
The performance is part of Moving in November, a contemporary dance festival organised annually in the Helsinki Metropolitan area.
