Organizer

Children's Cultural Centre Aurora

Daycare and school groups as well as all residents are warmly welcome to the joyful flag-raising event of the Children's Cultural Centre Aurora to celebrate World Children’s Day!

The programme will include a speech and a sound work called Kuule minua, in which children from Espoo and around Finland will have the opportunity to speak. The fast-paced figures of Theatre Hevosenkenkä will bring joy and surprises to the event through improvisation and lead the audience to raise the flag together.

Children's Rights Week will be celebrated from 16 to 22 November 2026. This year's theme, "Every child is valuable", reminds us of every child's right to be seen, heard and appreciated.

Welcome to celebrate this important day!

Duration: about 20-30 minutes

Recommended age: 3-8 years old. The event is open to everyone

Language: Finnish

Free admission. Mandatory pre-registration for groups
