Espoo will host the TeamGym European Championships from 14 to 17 October 2026 at the Metro Areena. Junior and senior teams from across Europe will gather to compete for the most prestigious championships in TeamGym.

TeamGym is a form of team gymnastics where teams compete in three disciplines: floor, tumble and trampette. The sport combines acrobatics, strength, skills and seamless teamwork.

The European Championships are the most important international competition in TeamGym. The first European Championships in the sport were held in Jyväskylä in 1996, and now, 30 years later, the championships are returning to Finland. The event is expected to attract thousands of competitors, coaches and spectators from across Europe to Espoo.
