Ramayana – The Triumph of Light over Darkness* immerses the audience in the atmosphere of Diwali, the festival of lights. Rooted in Indian cultural tradition, the *Ramayana* epic tells a timeless story of the triumph of good over evil, as well as of courage, loyalty, and hope—themes that lie at the very heart of Diwali.

This spectacular dance-theatre performance combines classical Indian dance, music, and storytelling into an engaging experience, inviting the audience to discover one of the world’s great stories. It also offers a chance to get into the spirit of the Diwali celebration, which takes place at the Espoo Cultural Centre on the last Saturday of October.
