What does joy feel like? What is love like? What can you do when you feel really angry?

The Little Book of Emotions, based on Mauri Kunnas's book of the same name, is a performance full of big emotions.

Together with Grandpa Mäkinen, you will learn to recognize different emotions and discover that all feelings are welcome. Join this fun, music-filled performance and let yourself be swept away by a world of emotions!

The Little Book of Emotions is a sequel to Teatteri Konna's beloved and highly acclaimed production The Little Book of Fears, which has been touring Finland since 2024.

The Little Book of Emotions is available for booking at day-care centres, libraries, children's events and theatres across Finland from October 2026 onwards.

The performances take place in the Mauri Kunnas Exhibition. The performances will be in Finnish.

Alongside the Little Book of Feelings performance, be sure to visit the open art workshop in the Ruusuvuori space on the K Floor of Exhibition Centre WeeGee!

The open art workshop draws inspiration from the colourful characters, playful atmosphere, and wide range of emotions found in Mauri Kunnas’s books. Participants are invited to design and create their own emotion character. What kind of character emerges when joy, excitement, shyness, or even anger is transformed into colour, shape, and personality?

The open art workshop is open on Thursday, 15 October 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00. This drop-in workshop allows visitors to participate at their own pace and according to their own schedule. The workshop is intended for participants of all ages. Children under the age of 10 must attend with an adult. No Finnish language skills are required to take part in the event.

The route to the main entrance

The drop-off point for passenger traffic is approximately 20 meters from the main entrance. The surface leading to the main entrance is even.
The 4 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 meters from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 meters.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The route has a ramp over 6 meters long without an intermediate landing, with handrails on both sides.

The main entrance

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

In the facility

The customer service point has three floors.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The doors in the facility stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.
There is a second accessible toilet on floor -1.
There is a third accessible toilet on floor 2.
