KAFFETTA JA KARAOKEA
a comedy about founding a political party
Come and enjoy a lovely time together at your local library and brighten up the darkening evenings with a free theatre performance.
KAFFETTA JA KARAOKEA – year after year, the association meets to discuss the Finnish political landscape over coffee and karaoke. Jyrä, Irmeli, Reksa and the rest of the members believe there are many problems in the world, such as dog poo, the rights of pigeons and the ‘language gap’ between generations. Then it hits them – to mark the upcoming election cycle, why not set up a new party on the Finnish political map! To achieve this, Jyrä, Irmeli, Reksa and the rest of the association need your vote too.
During the performance, you’ll have the chance to influence the proceedings of the annual general meeting and join in with some sing-alongs. What’s more, those who register in advance will receive a free cup of coffee and a bun. The performance lasts approximately one hour. Admission is free. Recommended age: seven and over (7+).
The performance has received funding from the City of Espoo to ensure its accessibility.
