Welcome to explore life in the WeeGee building from the 1960s to the present day through a rich archive of photographs and stories! What kind of setting did Aarno Ruusuvuori’s modernist design provide for the operations of the printing house? What did the period between the closure of the printing operations and the establishment of the exhibition centre look like? And what kinds of artistic and cultural takeovers of space have taken place within WeeGee’s concrete walls during the museums’ 20-year history?
The lecture is in Finnish.
Luova Space, 2nd floor of EMMA.
