Come along on an exciting nature and art walk!
The event is intended for people with a migrant background living in Espoo. The event is free of charge.
Language of the excursion: simple Finnish.
During the excursion, you’ll have the chance to watch and experience a theatre and dance performance entitled ‘Creatures of the Forest’, performed by artist Kaisa Käärmemaa. In the performance, the forest comes to life.
The walk will be led by nature guide Erkki Makkonen. The route takes you through the forest on an easy 2–3 km walk at a leisurely pace.
The destination is Espoo Central Park, and the meeting point is in Suna.
Children aged 7 and over are welcome to join the walk, accompanied by a guardian.
You can bring your own water bottle and, if you wish, a snack. You’ll need warm, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
The walk promotes wellbeing, lifts your spirits and revitalises you!
How to get there:
The meeting point for the walk in Suna is the Töyrylaakso playground, Alamäentie 5, 02760 Espoo(external link, opens in a new window). You can get there, for example, by taking bus 224 from Espoo Centre. The nearest bus stop is Soliseva.
