Welcome to Senior Day at Lippulaiva Library!

Come and enjoy a fun and varied day at Lippulaiva Library! The program includes crafts, honey and bees, memory exercises, bingo, and advice and support with digital matters. Representatives from a number of senior citizens organisations will also be there, giving you an opportunity to learn about different activities, hobbies and ways to get involved. The program runs from 10 am to 3 pm – join us for the whole day or drop in whenever it suits you!

10 am–12 noon | Open Crafting Community

Come and work on crafts in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Bring your own craft project or simply drop in without one. A library staff member will be there to offer guidance and help when needed.

10 am–12 noon | Stadin tarhaajat – Kapyysi Kitchen

Come and learn more about honey and bees! You’ll hear interesting facts about beekeeping and also have the chance to taste some honey.

11 am | Uudenmaan Muistiluotsi – Memory Information & Brain Exercises

In the game room Messi, you can learn more about memory and try some memory exercises and brain-training.

12 noon and 2 pm | Bingo

Bingo will be held in the shopping centre area. The main prize is a gourmet basket!

1–3 pm | Enter ry’s Digital Fair

The Digital Fair in the Salonki multi-purpose space offers help and inspiration with digital matters. Bring your old digital devices for recycling and discover interesting services presented at the information stands. Have a question about anything digital? Ask away – Enter’s digital advisors are happy to help!
