As part of EMMA's 20th anniversary in 2026, the Saastamoinen Foundation Collection Exhibition will be newly presented and curated by EMMA’s Director, Krist Gruijthuijsen. Taking over the entire collection exhibition space, the new display celebrates the long-term collaboration between EMMA and Saastamoinen Foundation, the museum’s founding partner.
Alien in Me features works by approximately 50 artists, including Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Ana Lupaș, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Heli Rekula, P. Staff, Jenna Sutela and Gillian Wearing among others. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how we coexist, evolve, and connect in an increasingly fluid reality.
The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 meters from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 meters.

The main entrance
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
In the facility
The customer service point is located on floor 2.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
The customer service point has a toilet marked as accessible on floor -1. The toilet door cannot be easily opened and closed.
