Reading Support Advisory Service: Support and Tips for Learning at Tapiola Library

Mon 5 October 2026, 5:00–6:00 pm, featuring the reading dog Halla.

At the advisory session, you can receive information about reading and writing difficulties, how they can be identified, and various assistive tools that make reading and writing easier. You will also have the opportunity to explore different educational games that can be downloaded onto a tablet or computer. Come and discuss learning, learn more about different ways of learning, and get acquainted with the activities of HERO (Helsinki Region Diverse Learners Association).

The advisory service is provided by our special education experts and is free of charge.

You can find the advisory point in the library lobby or in another designated location within the library. The location may vary. You can recognize HERO’s advisory point by HERO’s green roll-up banner.
