What does a song you create yourself sound like? In the Song Builders workshop, you'll find out!

Together with the workshop leader, participants will build a brand-new song inspired by their own ideas and themes. The group will create the lyrics, melody, and arrangement from scratch. Writing a song together offers a fresh perspective on creativity and shows that everyone can be creative.

Participants will also get to try musical instruments from different parts of the world and use them to rehearse the song for a final performance. After the workshop, the group will receive a recording of the song they created as a keepsake.

Duration: 60 minutes

Free for 4-6 graders from Espoo as a KULPS Culture Path ‘As Much as You Like’ visit.

Advance registration via the registration form is mandatory. The registration form opens on 11 January 2027 at 2.00 PM.

Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 meters long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
