Would you like to express your ideas more clearly, think critically about everyday issues, and speak with greater confidence?
This interactive workshop introduces participants to practical communication and critical-thinking skills through engaging activities, small-group discussions, and introductory parliamentary-style debate exercises. Participants will learn how to structure ideas, analyze different perspectives, build persuasive arguments, and communicate effectively in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Drawing on methods used in international parliamentary debating, the workshop offers a beginner-friendly introduction to structured discussion and reasoning. Participants will explore a variety of social and everyday topics while developing skills that are valuable in education, work, and civic life.
No previous experience in debating or public speaking is required. The workshop is open to students, young adults, and anyone interested in strengthening their communication, reasoning, and confidence.
