Lamppukärpänen - Husfluga, Ijusfluj (The Lampfly) is a dance piece about the world's largest fly, which loves books and all kinds of insects. There are an astonishing number of quintuplets in the world, such as the ladybug, the scaly ant, the bookworm, the bean beetle, the scaly ant, the German beetle, the jump-tail, the book louse and so on!

Small insects make the world go round with their own activities; with them, fruit grows and people get to eat - and the world, and especially people, could not survive without insects. That is why the Lampfly reads and gets to know everything possible. And yes, he is also an insect to the point of experiencing a fascinating transformation from a yellow-green caterpillar to a handsome fly.

The performance is available in Finnish and Swedish.
