Welcome to create with Roger Mello! In this workshop, we will invent all kinds of characters, images, shapes, and encounters inspired by your ideas, secrets, stories, and ancestries. A space to imagine, discover, and bring to life the worlds that live within us.

An exhibition by Brazilian artist, writer, and illustrator Roger Mello, one of the leading voices in contemporary children’s literature and visual storytelling. The exhibition presents illustrations from selected children’s books alongside embroidered works inspired by his visual narratives.

The route to the main entrance

The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 meters from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 meters.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
There is a steep slope on the passage.
The passage has at least 4 steps.
The route has a ramp under 6 meters long, with handrails on both sides.

The main entrance

The entrance is hard to perceive but illuminated
Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 meters long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
