What happens when three top professionals from different musical worlds join forces? This concert hall tour brings together schlager singer and Tango King Teemu Roivainen, baritone Aarne Pelkonen – a magnet of the opera stage and winner of the Sibelius Singing Competition – and versatile performer, actor-singer Mikko Töyssy on the same stage. Expect an evening where genre boundaries dissolve and powerful emotions take over.

The concert stages will be filled with exceptional voice and charisma as Teemu Roivainen, Aarne Pelkonen and Mikko Töyssy combine their strengths. Although the trio share a background in the popular TV show Tähdet, tähdet, the tour focuses прежде all on the encounter of three distinct voices and personalities.

The idea for the collaboration emerged naturally from the artists’ own “deliberations” and a desire to challenge each other on stage. “What happens when the three of us, coming from different backgrounds, are placed on the same stage? It’s a mix of classical discipline, the power of popular music – with a touch of theatrical artistry,” the artists describe.

The concert programme is built around great classics. The evening offers well-known hits from both pop and classical music – from grand, powerful performances to intimate and delicate moments.

The repertoire has been selected with heart: it includes love songs for women, but also songs from men to men. At the core is a “powerful voice”, which this trio is not afraid to use.
