Jesse Kaikuranta: Christmas Jazz

Known for his exceptional interpretations, Jesse Kaikuranta will perform a Christmas Jazz concert together with his pianist Juho Valjakka, featuring beloved Christmas songs in Valjakka’s unique jazz arrangements.

Kaikuranta describes the concert as follows:

“Jazz has always been close to my heart, and it’s exciting to approach Christmas songs from a slightly different angle. Christmas concerts always carry a promise of peace and tranquility, and those are the feelings I would like to share with the audience through my concerts.”

Jesse Kaikuranta is a singer who has received several Emma Award nominations during his career, and whose soothing voice has truly captured the hearts of Finns. Performing since the early 2000s, this interpreter of great emotions rose to national fame through The Voice of Finland in 2012 and the release of his debut album Take Me Home (Vie mut kotiin). The album, which achieved triple-platinum status and earned five Emma nominations, produced several major hits, including the title track “Vie mut kotiin” as well as the singles “Järjetön rakkaus” and “Näytän sulle rannan”.
