The route to the main entrance

• The 4 accessible parking spaces are located in a parking hall under 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
• The parking hall has a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The lift takes directly to the customer service point. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
• The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
• The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
• The route has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on one side.

The main entrance

• The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.

• The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

In the facility

• The sports facilities are located on floor -1.

• There is a heated storage area for wheelchairs and prams next to the entrance.
• The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.

• The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily and has a fixed induction loop. The desk is accessible to customers sitting down or standing.
• The facility features a quiet area for guide and aid dogs.

Dressing room, shower room and sauna

• The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
• The accessible dressing room is located in connection to the men's/women's dressing rooms. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually. In the dressing room, the door of the accessible section opens easily by hand.
• The accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible. An accessible toilet is provided in connection to the men's/women's dressing room.
• The facility also has a separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
• The separate accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible. An accessible toilet is connected to the dressing room.
• An accessible shower room is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. An embossed sign is provided next to the door of the shower room. The door opens easily manually. The doorway has no threshold.
• The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat and armrest as well as a support railing.
• An accessible sauna is available in connection to the separate accessible dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
• The sauna has room for one wheelchair. It is possible to move onto the lowest bench from the wheelchair.

Sports facilities

• Room is available next to the pools for storing aids during swimming. The handrails on the wall facilitate navigating the pool area.
