Para Swimming Group offers a regular and versatile swimming activity for children aged 7–13 with physical disabilities, visual impairments, or intellectual disabilities who are interested in swimming.
The aim of the training is to develop participants’ water skills in a variety of ways, practice techniques in different swimming strokes, and improve swimming endurance. Participants may also choose to take part in competitions or simply enjoy swimming as a regular recreational activity.
Entry Requirements: Participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres continuously. The goal is to provide a regular and diverse swimming activity for children interested in swimming. Participants must be able to follow the swimming pool’s rules and the instructor’s guidance, as well as function appropriately in a group setting. Attendants or personal assistants are welcome to accompany participants, and their participation is included in the course fee.
The course fee includes instruction, the participant’s admission to the swimming pool, and accident insurance. A wristband key for the locker can be collected from the swimming pool reception 15 minutes before the start of the session. Participants will meet at the pool when the session begins. Parents or guardians are responsible for their child outside the scheduled course hours.
